UK Fun Fair

Never on earth I'd imagined finding myself in this kinda place.
Not that I don't like to go, but the last time I went is probably when I was young, too young that I barely left any memories. We have this kind of funfair at Kedah too, it's just opposite to our taman, yet we didn't even put the effort to go LOL. Quote Mum, she said since it's temporary the equipments might be much more dangerous than we though, hmmm...

That night I was actually busy replying messages and was ready for a whole night working on my computer and phone. Suddenly Belle called and asked whether I wanna go. Of course I said no HAHA But after almost an hour of spamming my whatsapp and listing out all the reasons why I should go (she is real good at this whenever asking me out, analyzing reasons, listing out and even clearing all the 'obstacles', spamming calls and so on....Great job Belle! <<<The only one that is so damn successful for asking me out in the history LOL)
15mins before we went, I replied "K going, fetch me at guard house." YEPP SHE WON.

Tickets booth.
The tickets per entrance costs RM2, and the rides are paid separately. A token costs RM2 and usually a ride will need 2/3tokens per ride.
Well we had a crazy time on all those crazy extreme rides. From the first one to the last one, I came down dizzy every time LOL
Belle was beside me every rides (coz usually the rides are in pairs), it will usually start by her saying Oh I'm so nervous and me keep taking pictures at the same time ignoring her before the ride starts.
It's another story once the ride starts, as I'll be screaming out loud and acting all crazy, then she'll start laughing like mad ( she thinks my reaction is very funny every time, very supportive huhh ) After every rides she'll come down can't stop laughing for 5mins, trying to tell others what I did up there, but usually ended up laughing harder, before anyone understands. What's that funny? Me screaming until my voice changes, me tearing after the rides spin for the second round until the last spin, me saying all kinda weird things up there, me doing siasui things like putting out my hand or screaming at the wrong timing, everything. I don't really understand though.

Spamming pictures from the funfair but since it's dark the pictures are not that nice =/

DingDing street.

That moon beside though.

No one ride this makes it more creepy.

There are also food stalls there for people like us who got tired screaming too loud too much.
3 for RM2
RM3 per.
Da lovely gang.
We stayed at there for about three hours then went home with muscles popping (for clutching too tight on thee rides) and a sore throat  ._.
It was a fun short getaway though =]

Life is never smooth, and it's okay.

Lately I'm trying to get into a business (SAY WHATTTTT?!!!)

Actually I'm real busy with the things on my hand. I have a tonnes of work that can pile up to the ceiling, I have been rushing assignments here and there everyday, making every single little changes. I've been rushing in and out classes, sometimes even to other's classes as I'm facing some academic problems especially with the lecturers' teaching style. I've also been stressing out a bit with the club activities, dealing between two parties, searching for sponsorship and dealing with the accommodation. At the same time I'm starting to be involving in organizing a brand new event (which you guys can definitely look forward to), and things are all just starting, but things are not progressing, which stressed me out a bit more. Moreever, finals is two weeks near and with the things I need to deal with in between, time's ticking!
Not that I've been putting myself in a hard situation and try to drown myself, forgetting about having a rest or having fun in between. I do enjoy myself doing things and filling up my time with something meaningful and interesting.

The whole story started when my friend told me she's interested and wanted to start that business, I was like okay, supporting from here. Then later, being a friend, I gave lots of suggestion and kept following up with her progress, typically kepoh. After that, she contacted me and asked more deeply and hope that I can work with her, and I was like, why not?! I can try.

So now I was involved in this thingy, which basically going to Thailand much more often, getting back things from there and selling it in Malaysia. I know that a lot of people like me, are interested in buying Thailand goods, as they are so nice with good quality, but doesn't have the chance to go often.
I'm facing a lot of problems dealing with people everyday, different parties. Things just doesn't seem that easy, I stressed out a lot and have been having sleepless nights. I'm trying to sell it here with a lower price range, and trying to get more from selling more. But now we're having lack of custtomers and since we are new, it's very hard to get people to trust us.
Although I didn't tell my mum a lot about it, but since she's a Thailand goods lover herself, she's been giving me advice, although not much but it does help in giving me motivation, knowing that my mum is supportive in this. I didn't tell her that I am having a hard time, but she always tell me that to learn in the progress. This is just like a magic sentence that can kinda calm me down, and keep me going on as I really face problems convincing myself to keep on going and hang in there.

I will put more things here, and maybe the link to the page I'm working on about this so called business (not really a business though), and hope that this will give you motivation to keep on going if you're having a hard time too. Remember, life is never been smooth, and it's okay to be so, as you'll learn and grow through the process.

of all the gatherings

This month has been hectic, with tonnes of work but at the same time, FUN!

Too much outings too much pics, just some update of my daily gatherings, movies and celebration!

First day of Ramadhan.
We went out for a hearty dinner at a Thai food restaurant. Before that we went for grocery shopping and after that they went for a movie, Me Before You. I watched it already, so yes, hours of shopping, window shopping TT Since they went for a midnight movie, the shops closed and the only place I can go is Starbucks LOL Too much time for me to kill, I started wandering in the empty mall, its a great experience with the darkness, quietness and emptiness dawning on me >< Spent some time for some private photo shooting with Belle too, climbing up those private and dangerous space. The outcome was great!!!

Birthday celebration!
It‘s Belle's birthday and she kept saying no one remember her birthday, so I chose to forget her birthday for the whole day XD I pakat with others too, asking them to just greet like saying a daily HI. Well they can't even do so coz they think it's too cruel to treat her that way 6.6 I mean that's the fun part, you make her sad as hell, and she'll be damn shocked and surprised later!
So we sneaked into the campus lakeside apartment, with a cake, pakat with Cora her housemate who mainly planned this. She was studying in the living room, its a windy rainy night, and suddenly we POP out HAHA
We had a great night having cake and a simple talk, for hours, until the day end.
It would be damn great having a small gathering like this, at least someone care to come ._.
I took  picture from the corner, and felt so warm in my heart. We talked like this for hours, then simply just headed back.
Funny thing is that night after everyone ate the cake, no one can sleep XD Maybe it contains caffeine in it or whatsoever, the next day Parween even can't wake up and missed his chemistry lab HAHA

The next day we went out with the business student~~~! For dinner and a movie. I laughed like mad on the car just because of Ellie's stupid jokes =_="
Thanks Maryam for the drive, the dinner, the movie, the supper. We had a great night!
Kenny Rogers for dinner.
After that we went for Conjuring2. I'm not a big fan of horror movie, I don't know how far I can go for the horror things. Proved that I was lame ._. Literally closed my eyes and peaked the subtitles throughout the whole movie especially the night settings HAHA I am not really scared of those things (I guess?) But the whole movie set up just.... freaked me out LOL.
We didn't dare to go straight home after the movie so we went to McD for supper XD

Yesterday we went out for two movies too! Central Intelligence and Warcraft. Both a must watch!!!
After that we went for Karaoke then a late dinner at Surf n' Turf~

Academic-wise, we finished our last lab!

Say bye to those long labs waiting the chemicals to react HAHA It also the last lab for my foundation! Time flies!
This Thursday we'll also have our last lecture which is Physics lecture and my foundation life will almost comes to and end. *sobs sobs
This few coming days I'll be working on WritingAndResearchSkills last assessment, compile the whole thing and make it an end. Then it'll be Physics project left. Our group really did something cool!!! I'll write another full post on our project after the presentation I guess, please do look forward to it! Will show other groups' project too if I had the chance too~

This was us working on the project~ That's a small part of it. Can't wait to show the whole! ; )

Parents Info Day '16

Putting the '16 behind the title hoping that this event can continue and I will be there the next time too XD

I was lacking motivation to write on here, even sometimes I feel that it's meaningless to write those 'boring' events, since nothing much actually happened.
I then been reminded by myself that the reason I wanted to start writing is to record daily things and try to find the small spark of joy from it.
My life was really busy rushing everything up and finish everything on time, I used to be like this too, but I made sure I squeeze time out for here, which I didn't really do for the past few weeks ._.

Back to the title!
Parents Info Day is like an event where future students come and know more about the university, the courses and maybe fees or scholarships. This event mostly aimed on local parents and students, to let them at least have a chance to visit the university at their neighborhood.

I talked to Regine who is the main person in charge for this event, she's a graduate from Curtin University which now works under the marketing department. She told me that even she's a local herself, but before studying here, she never had the chance to visit this university when she was in high school. She hope that the local Miri can be more familiar to the university and be more aware that Miri itself has a global-recognized uni.

JOB IN!
That morning we went early to help set up the place, they have booths for the engineering and commerce faculty, since this event is aiming high school students coming for foundation. There's also University Life department, fees and scholarship, they also had Yayasan Sarawak here for a booth.
The event started with two talks in the morning, one by the student's parent so that parents can know more what they should be aware or what their children will be receiving. The next one was by Yayasan Sarawak, all the way from Kuching.
I was not there for the talks, so no details XD

They had a simple tea break after the talks. Since it's puasa period, we had it in a small corner inside the SSD.
I set this up! ....but didn't have the chance to try it lol. K.O. ed after me finish busying my things...

After the tea break, we gave the parents and the students a campus tour!
Its fun for me too since as I introduce the places to the parents, I got to experience or go to areas where I usually can't get access to. The highlight part for me will be the MediaRoom, where only media students can access, which was my first time in there too! They were showed a short clip there.
Another one will be distributed learning center. I've been there before, but didn't get to try real live with Aussie there. This time, the person in charge there tried to contact with the classroom there. Since it's weekend so what we can see were empty classrooms LOL
The moooooost interesting one is the mechanical and civil labs and workshops. Its a very spacious open space, more like a work space. They have also a hugeeee room with huge machines in there!
(Sorry no pics >< )

During the campus tour I got to talk to some parents while going from one place to another, they where surprised by the fact that I'm from Kedah, as expected. We had a small talk about how Mirians want to go to west Malaysia to further their studies, but students from there coming here. I think its a decision that will be made after thinking from every aspects. For me, I had better choice, but still I chose to study here. It just feels all right, that's the most important factor for me. I never talked about this before, but until now, I still remember the feeling that night, where it suddenly clicks and it feels so right. Well, we never know what;s coming in the future and I believe that God will always choose the right path for you.

After the event.

A light world jump marking the end of the event =]

JUMPer

It's a night with complicated feelings.
I don't know but felt like writing here.

I was watching Bangtan clips of their concert, with fans singing along and the whole scenario very touching. If you've listened to some Bangtan songs, I believe that you'll know how good the lyrics will describe our feelings as a youth, I can't relate more.

This makes me reminisce those old days when I'm a huge fan of Johnny's especially JUMP. Not that I'm not a fan anymore, but not that crazy as I used to be.
I remembered a few years ago, I was having some private issues and need to be staying at my aunt's house for a few months. That time I was sitting for PMR and Zoe was sitting for SPM. I was so down at that moment, and JUMP was a big part that held me to go on.
I remembered Zoe and I shared a single bed. I would usually study and stay up until 3am in the morning, then wake her up before I go to sleep. Aunt's house is 30mins which is very far from our school, we don't have a proper place to stay and study, and most of our times are travelling here and there.

Looking back, I can't be more grateful that JUMP was there to support me mentally and I did promise myself to go to one of their concerts. Those days seems like nothing now, but it really did makes me grow. I did prove myself that fangirl-ing won't ruin your studies (?) More than that it gave me motivations. (and also picking up a language)

I don't see a chance going to their concert for this few years, who knows =/
They used to host Summary which have a couple of shows in one day! Now its natsu, there's Summary, but their not hosting it anymore... Their summer concert this year can't seem to meet my sembreak too... gahhhhhh kuyashi x.x

'OUR' black Wira

(I know if I won't write something now, I won't for ever ._. )

Last week right after we finished our Chemistry midterm, we rent a car for a day.
Arrissa being Arrissa, obsessed with BLACK, almost screamed (well she actually did) when she saw the car we're renting is black in color. Although it's a Wira, but it's black, and it's RM70, for a day!!!

We wanted to pamper our self with nice food, and decided to go to Escapade for some Japanese food.
The funny story starts here ...... *inserts magical BGM*
Since I don't know the way here at Miri, we used Google Maps just because I can't log in to my Waze... After 20mins drive, the road seems endless, and I can't remember I went through the places during my last visit to Escapade.
I checked my phone, and realized the destination is Escapade BRUNEI. Brunei. Brunei!
Phewwwww thanks God I checked, or we'll end up going to the border, and even without passport LOL.

Finally we got to our destination by using waze. (Friendly reminder, be safe, use waze. You're welcome. )
We expected a lot of people here, and still we came without booking XD. Lucky us we got our seat, and it's even by the window, which we can look out the calming beach with the sun setting. Awwww.

Now Arrissa don't need to color off her face black LOL

Thick thick Sashimi.

Thick thic sashimi sushi.

My unagi roll.
The unagi roll is heavennnnn. I don't used to be a big fan of unagi, but both Zoe and Bii are, and ended up me loving it more and more ._.
They have a couple of unagi in the roll, with a few pieces of avocado. The creamy taste of avocado with the unagi, worth it.

After that we went for late night movie!!!
It's Saturday night, us being ourselves, did not book early LOL
Ended up only front row left and COUPLE SEAT.
We got two couple seats instead Haha. Two hours date.

Found my perfect movie date.
Couple seat is a to go every time actually, coz why not?! Its very spacious, and I can put my legs up, lean and lie however I want.
Owhhhhh, I also found my perfect movie date------ Belle (my unicorn...which her hair kinda faded XD) I'm sometimes very talkative during movies Haha, usually people will ask me to be more quiet. Well, but Belle explains everything and agreed every thoughts of mine. How sweet of her XD.
We watched Xmen, and the plot is quite nervous for me LOL. Most of the time I'll be hiding and squeezing my whole body to her shoulder Haha.

I met a walking balloon character in the mall on that day =3

That night after movie, we went to McD with more other friends just chilling hehe.
just me and my angry birds Mcflurry~~~

The next day before handing back the car, we went for a brunch then some groceries shopping.
Laksa Lolita is quite famous in Miri so we decided to go have a try. The place is just by the roadside we spent some time searching for it.
Morningggggg

laksa

Mee Jawa
The laksa here is heavenly goooooood. Just looking at the picture, just thinking of it, there's already a saliva tsunami in my mouth LOL.
But Mee Jawa is so damn bad... Its much more better back at Kedah there, it is.

Yeaaaa, that's the story of us with our one day black Wira *inserts picture here*
Just imagine having a car here gahhhhhh I will go out everyday XD
